Jake Parkison

MS, LSWAIC

I have a passion for helping individuals navigate the complex emotions and challenges that come with experiencing trauma, as well as the unique struggles faced by members of the LGBTQIA+ community. With a background in trauma-informed therapy and a deep understanding of the intersections of trauma and identity, I provide a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their experiences and work towards healing and growth. I believe in the power of empathy, validation, and empowerment in the therapeutic process, and I work collaboratively with my clients to help them build resilience and create positive change in their lives.

My approach integrates trauma-informed care with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These modalities form the cornerstone of my practice, ensuring that you, the client, receives tailored interventions to promote healing and resilience.

Whether you are struggling with past trauma, navigating your identity, or facing other challenges in this season of your life, I am here to support you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
